Costumo dizer que 50 anos a frente de uma banda não é pouca coisa.
Muita gente esperava algo mais das bodas de ouro dos Rolling Stones – tipo um disco, uma megaturnê maior que a do U2, algo assim – mas banda lendária é banda lendária, então, sabendo disso, Mick, Keith e companhia já fizeram muito ao lançar uma coletânea (GRRR!) com duas faixas inéditas.
A primeira, “Doom & Gloom”, resgatava aquela energia de Some Girls (1978), um dos primeiros trabalhos com a chegada do guitarrista Ron Wood, até hoje membro permanente dos Stones.
Hoje, foi a vez da banda mostrar “One More Shot”, um rock de arena bem enérgico que me lembrou bastante os hits do AC/DC dos anos 70.
Muitos têm criticado a voz de Mick, sem levar em consideração seus 69 anos de idade. Ela continua praticamente intacta e inspiradora! Nesta canção, “One More Shot”, até Keith Richards faz uma brincadeira vocal nos refrões, provando que o tempo quase não passou para os Stones.
